Who is Church Planter Profiles for?

Church Planter Profiles was created to help anyone interested in church planting discover their aptitude and readiness for starting a new church.

What if I want to be part of a church planting team?

Church Planter Profiles will help you better understand the experience and strengths you bring to a potential church planting team.

Why should someone take an assessment?

Assessment is a process of discerning whether a potential church planter has the specific calling, necessary gifts, critical skills and Godly character to plant a church. Church Planter Profiles uses a series of assessments designed to objectively evaluate potential church planters' gifts, talents, temperament, behavioral styles, experiences, and background. This layered assessment process gives potential church planters and church planting networks invaluable data for use in discerning next steps for potential church planters.

Church Planter Profiles is not designed to provide a yes or no answer regarding whether anyone should start a new church. It should always be used as part of a comprehensive assessment process.

Do I have to choose a church planting network?

You do not need to affiliate with any organization or planter network in order to create an account with Church Planter Profiles and take our church planting assessments. You may simply use the default selection ELI Church Planting when creating your account. If you are looking to be connected with a church planting organization, please visit our resource section for a list of organizations that use Church Planter Profiles.

Can I use Church Planter Profiles outside the United States?

Church Planter Profiles is available globally. At this time, however, the assessments are only available in English.

How long does it take?

Once your account has been created, you will be asked to complete the Initial Screening Assessment©. The assessment consists of 85 questions and will take approximately 20 - 30 minutes to complete. This questionnaire will provide you with a preliminary assessment of readiness for church planting.

These may require a few minutes or several hours. You are not required to complete all of these assessments in one sitting. After completing an assessment or survey you may logout. You may then return to your work at any time simply by logging back in to your account.
